There is a time when we break away from everyday life, when childhood memories come back, when we want to feel exceptional.
Christmas and the New Year’s Eve are this special and exceptional time in our lives.
It’s good that the experiences also have an appropriate external setting.
One of the warmest symbols of these days is the Christmas tree. Full of sparkling ornaments and glass baubles. Glowing with lights.
Present in the European tradition since the 15th century, and in Poland since the 17th century, it has always been adorned. Originally decorated with fruit, candy, nuts and staniol tinsel.
The turn of the 19th and 20th centuries is the beginning of a glass Christmas tree bauble.
Glassmakers in glassworks began to manually mold from glass tubes on a burner of various diameters spheres, icicles, ovals, spheres with reflectors and various shapes; birds, parakeets, apples, pears, lemons, houses, etc….
In the second half of the twentieth century, the first metal forms are created, and as a result a whole lot of different shapes are created.
Each Christmas tree ball is inside covered with a thin layer of real silver.
That’s why it sparkles, glitters, reflects light and is magical.
Baubles are painted and decorated by hand, each color is applied separately with a brush. It is tedious work. Typical handicraft.
Our ladies painters paint, decorate and sprinkle with glitter, all by hand, color by color.
We have many years of experience in the production of Christmas decorations. Our designs are original and of the highest quality.
Today, in the age of computers and robots, it turns out that nothing can replace the human hand that can give each bauble a unique individuality.
